Adult Fixtures

The Senior team is not our only adult team playing this weekend. First up we have our Junior ‘C’ team that take to the pitch on Thursday 20th with an away fixture to Ferrybank, throw-in is at 7.30pm.

This is followed by our Junior ‘A’ team playing Mount Sion on Friday 21st when they play Mount Sion in Walsh Park at 6:45pm.

U11 City League

A great win for Roanmore in Division 3 of the U11 City League last Friday night when our team played away to DLS. From the throw in our lads were on the attack and displaying some excellent skills and scored some great goals and points. Goals in the first half were from Jay Halligan and Noah McCormack which gave us a good lead before facing the breeze in the second half .

Even against the elements our lads continued to take some great scores with further goals from Dylan Murphy, Richard Keane and Jake Power and we ran out comfortable winners on a scoreline of Roanmore 5-11 DLS 2-1. With one round of matches to play we sit top of the table with this team showing great improvement all year.

U12 City League

Our U12 Division 3 team played Clan na Gael on Monday of last week in a game we dominated for long periods but somehow lost it in the end. Despite the loss we had some very good performance on the night and that's all that we can ask for from the boys, to keep improving and doing their best. Goals on the night from Dylan Murphy, Oliver White and Daniel Ryan were not enough to save us as we lost out by one point 3-7 to 5-2. Still all to play for in this league.

U11 Division 1 V Mount Sion away Wednesday 19th at 6:30pm.

U12 Division 3 V Tramore home Friday 21st at 6:30pm.
