Junior C Hurling

A big milestone is coming occurs for the club on 26th April when Roanmore GAA club for the very first time will enter a third adult team into a competition. This match will see our players travel to Portlaw for a 7pm throw in.

Senior Hurling League

Our Senior hurlers travel to Passage on Saturday 27th April for their next round match of the 2019 hurling league for a 7pm throw-in.

U14 Hurling Feile Na Gael Qualifier

On Thursday 18th April our Feile team played in the qualifier round of this years Feile in Leamybrien. The team had wins over Kilrossanty and St. Oliver's but their final game against Passage saw the team fall to a defeat. Hard luck to the team but keep up the good work.

Carriganore U12 Blitz

On Saturday last our under 12 squad make the short trip to carraiganore for a blitz. We started the blitz with 2 competitive matches against Fourmilewater and St Olivers. Bothe of these games ended as a draw after some excellent play. Our third game saw us the players put in our strongest performance to get the win against a very strong Ballyduff Upper team. The different rules of goals only made for great excitement in all the games. A great day with all players getting valuable gametime in fantastic weather. The games were played in fantastic spirit by all the teams. Big thanks to organisers for a well run and enjoyable blitz. Roanmore squad on the day - Daniel Barry, Conor Melo, Cathal Marks, Caoloinn Reville, Benjiman Meistas, Sean Murphy, Alex Furlong, Kayden Kavanagh Drennan, Aaron McCabe, Tom Kavanagh, Keelan Murphy, Darragh Hearne.

U11 City League

Our U11 team travelled to Ferrybank on Friday last to take on the home team in the second round of the City League. In perfect conditions for hurling, our young team again put in a great performance. From the first whistle we were on the attack and Oliver White had a goal inside 5 minutes, this was followed by further goals in the first half by James Gannon and Jay Halligan. Points were also taken by Oliver , Jay and Dylan Murphy to leave the half time score Roanmore 3-5 to Ferrybanks 1-1. With some changes on both sides the second half was keenly contested with Ferrybank scoring some goals on the break away, but a fine half by Dylan Murphy who register two goals for Roanmore one of which was out of the top drawer saw us win the game on a scoreline of Roanmore 5-5 to Ferrybank 5-1. 15 players got game time in this match each of them improving with each performance. Our U12 in Division 3 travel to De la Salle on 26th April for a 6:30pm throw in.

2019 Cul Camp

Online booking for this year's Kelloggs Cul Camp is now open. This occurs at Roanmore from 1st to 5th July. Book early to avoid disappointment. The camp can be booked at www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie
