2019 Championship draw

The 2019 championship draw occurred last week and Roanmore are in a group with Mount Sion, Fourmilewater and Abbeyside. No easy matches in this group but hopefully we can build on the progress made last year. First match will be against Mount Sion (dates and time tbc). Best of luck to all involved.


Congratulations to Roanmore player Billy Nolan on his participation in Waterford’s excellent win against Offaly at the weekend.

Flag Day

Roanmore GAA Club would like to thank all our volunteers that helped with our recent flag day. Special thanks to Michael Power who organised the event.Your time is greatly appreciated.

Dr. Harty Cup

We would like to say hard luck to the De la Salle college team on their loss in the semi-final of the Dr Harty cup over the weekend. Roanmore were well represented on the team so keep up the good work.


Membership fees for 2019 is now due, payable by monthly standing order or cash.

The costs are as follows:

Family membership € 300 (This includes a Deise Draw ticket worth €90)

Adults € 180

Juveniles € 50 (all under19's and down)

Club Social

The annual club social is being held at the end of February. More details in next weeks notes.

National Draw

These National draw tickets cost €10 each with all money raised from ticket sales remaining within the club. Tickets must be back before 3rd February so that they can be registered for the draw. Please endeavour to sell as many of these tickets as you can.

Training for children born in 2009 & 2010

This occurs at Carrickpheirish sports hall on Tuesdays from the 15th January 2019. Time is from 5-6pm and from Saturday 26th January in Carriganore from 1-2pm.

Sunday Entertainment

Why now come along to our Social Centre each Sunday for some live music.
