First Executive Meeting of 2019

The first club executive meeting of 2019 occurred last week and the roadmap to the clubs continued improvement was discussed. This committee are an important part of club structures with multiple roles being fulfilled by club volunteers. Please assist activities organised by the committee through-out the year.


Membership fees for 2019 is now due, payable by monthly standing order or cash.

The costs are as follows:

Family membership € 300 (This includes a Deise Draw ticket worth €90)

Adults € 180

Juveniles € 50 (all under19's and down)

Over the next few weeks, the club has two major fundraising activities, these are:

National Draw

These National draw tickets cost €10 each with all money raised from ticket sales remaining within the club. Tickets must be back before 3rd February so that they can be registered for the draw.

Flag Days

The annual club flag days occur on 24th/25th January. Can you spare a couple of hours of your time to help? Contact Michael on 086-1701847 for more details.

Training for children born in 2009 & 2010

This occurs at Carrickpheirish sports hall on Tuesdays from the 15th January 2019. Time is from 5-6pm and from Saturday 26th January in Carriganore from 1-2pm.

Card Handicap

Card handicap occurs on 28th January in the Roanmore Centre starting 9:30pm sharp. All Welcome

Young Hurler of the Year

Congratulations to Cian Wadding on his nomination for young Waterford hurler of the year. The awards banquet takes place in Lawlors hotel this Saturday, best wishes from all in the club.

Sunday Entertainment

Why now come along to our Social Centre each Sunday for some live music. Next Sunday we have Carol and Martin playing from 10pm
