All in Roanmore GAA Club would like to extend our sincere sympathy to the Gallagher Family on the death of Willie. Willie Gallagher was a founding member of our Club back in 1970 and served on the first committee as Chairman. Willie remained as a proud supporter of all things Roanmore down through the years.
Senior Hurling Championship
Best wishes to our Senior hurlers who play their third round match against Passage on 1st July in Walsh Park. We hope to see a large support for this important match.
Family Fun Day
Roanmore GAA Club held our annual Family Fun Day in Cleaboy in glorious sunshine. Activities commenced at 1.30pm with a large contingent of our juveniles marching to our pitch from our Social Centre along Cleaboy road to our pitch for the afternoons activities. After the National Anthem it was down to the matches. Up first was the U6s with Des, these young players showing great skill and they had an enjoyable time before being presented with their medals by our County Minors Cian Wadding and Rory Furlong.
U8 match
The U8 match was an exciting game with some excellent ground hurling with the winning score courtesy of a brilliant ground stoke by Josh Hearne who found the top corner of the net. All participating players received medals for there efforts from Cian and Rory.
Tom O Brien Tournament
The Tom O Brien Tournament for U10s was up next a very high standard of hurling with the teams level at half time. At the end of full time it was the team captained by Tom Kavanagh that got the win. Trophies for the winning team were presented by Tadhg Ryan and Craig Reidy. Player of the match went to Matthew Walsh and the Cup was presented to team Captain Tom Kavanagh.
Eamon Cody Tournament
The final of the Eamon Cody for U12 was also the last match of the day and only arriving home from holidays that morning Callum Carroll played a great game helping his team to victory. Cian Dunne was captain and Caoilinn Reville was player of the match, well done everyone.
A great day had by all thanks to everyone who helped out on the day.

Kelloggs Cul Camp

Registration for the Kellogg’s Cul Camp is now open and can be completed at www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie . The dates for the Roanmore camp are July 2nd to 6th.
