Weekly Notes for 12th March 2018
Saint Patrick’s Message
The Roanmore GAA Club would like to wish all our members, their families and our supporters and happy Saint Patrick’s day. We hope to see a large contingent of our younger players participate in the parade wearing club colours. The team mentors will be in contact with parents as soon as we have assembly point details.
Less than three weeks to the first round of the championship against Mount Sion. The match is being played in Walsh Park on 31st March at 6pm. Hope to see all our supporters come out to see the team in action.
The first competitive match for our Senior team takes place next Monday (19th March) against Dungarvan. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for details of venue and time.
Juvenile Hurling Training Times
All new players are welcome with hurley's and helmets provided. Coaches are fully Garda Vetted. Training times area as follows:
Our youngest hurlers will train from 11:30am to 12:30pm in the Manor St. John Hall in Lisduggan every Saturday. Contact Eric on 0863395920 for anymore information.
Our U8/9/10/11 and 12 player's train on Saturdays from 1pm to 2pm in the WIT Sports Campus Carriganore, outdoor on the AstroTurf pitch. Contact David on 0868241060 for anymore information.
Saint Patrick’s day entertainment in Roanmore Social Centre
First up we have Brendan McCarthy who plays from 7pm to 9pm followed by Bim Connors.
Sunday Night Entertainment in Roanmore Social Centre
On Sunday 18th March Gerry Walsh is playing in the Centre from 10pm.
